Owned by Swisscom, Fastweb has reopened offices in nine Italian cities after coronavirus lockdowns. It had been one of the few companies in Italy promoting working from home or remotely, before this year’s coronavirus crisis.
Fastweb said in a statement that it had agreed to maintain existing financial terms for all its employees, including benefits, although the agreement, which begins this month, does not include any extra contribution for those working from home.
The firm said it will trial the arrangement until the end of June next year, with the aim of making it permanent.
