Fancy Bird, a blockchain-based play-to-earn (P2E) game hopes to become the next mobile phenomenon Flappy Bird.
Flappy Bird is a mobile game developed by Vietnamese video game programmer Dong Nguyen, under his game company. Gears in 2013. After that, the game became famous until now. So, Fancy Birds believes it is the next Flappy Bird blockchain-based P2E game.
The project is a single-player mobile game with 8,888 randomly generated NFT characters minted with design features. These characters fight from level to level to earn their spot as “the fanciest bird in the nest”.
With the launch due in about a month, Flappy Bird saw many investors like Kain Warwick from Synthetix, Stani Kulechov from Aave, Tyler Ward from Barnbridge, Santiago Santos, and 0xmaki from Sushi joining its pre-seed round this week for the forthcoming Fancy Birds.
According to the company, they are still discussing the launch of the Ethereum NFT scaling layer-2 project Immutable X. What’s more exciting, after the launch, successful players could earn 40% of the Fancy (FNC) token supply. After that, upgrades will follow the game with the launch of multiplayer mode, with breeding, staking and tournaments planned.
