Philippine annual inflation at 2.8% in January

MANILA (Reuters) – Philippine annual inflation was at 2.8% in January, versus the previous month’s 3.9%, the statistics agency said on Tuesday.

Economists in a Reuters poll had forecast annual inflation of 3.1% in January, within the central bank’s 2.8% to 3.6% projection for the month.
