The rule would apply to companies that handle more than 5 million transactions per year, such as PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL), Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Meta (NASDAQ:META).
